Orlando Franklin-The Meanest Lineman in the Draft

During the second round of draft this year, Broncos scooped up the “power-house” offensive tackle, Orlando Franklin (Miami). Leading the offensive line last year for Miami, Franklin was a mean bruiser. Most notably know for his amazing and powerful run-blocking technique, Franklin, with a frame of 6-foot-5, 322-pounds, will present a challenge for anyone who dares to pass-rush. During a recent press conference, Franklin said, “I like to think of myself as the most physical offensive lineman that was in the draft, and I am looking forward to bringing that nature to the Denver Broncos.” Franklin is expected to start immediately at right tackle, since the O-line last year was of major disappointment.
Although the starting QB still has not been announced (and probably wont be for a while), Franklin could potentially be the man in charge of protecting Tebow’s blind side if Tim gets the starting job. Franklin, who transitioned at Miami from a guard to tackle his senior season, has some experience at the position, and provides a solid stature to the right side of the line.
