Last night, Chris Mortensen tweeted a text that said how the Minnesota Vikings have expressed interest in veteran QB, Kyle Orton. Minnesota, who used their first pick in this years draft to draft Florida State QB, Christian Ponder, is looking to provide a more educational framework for Ponder, before they unleash him to the dogs.
Besides the Vikings, the Arizona Cardinals also have expressed interest in Orton. Arizona is looking to trade players upfront for Orton, while the Vikings are interested in giving away possible draft picks next year. Whatever the case, if the Broncos do indeed trade Orton, it will only mean that they have a lot of faith in their second year QB, Tim Tebow.
