As training camp begins, the possibility of signing bigger and better free agents slims down by the day. In the wake of the first days of camp, the Broncos have signed former Ravens running back, Willis McGahee to a three-year deal in what they consider to be the answer to their two-running back system problem. Although many expected DeAngelo Williams (Panthers) to be the much better fit, the Broncos ultimately lost their bid and chose to encourage competition among backs in camp.
Within the other news, the Dolphins have recently signed quarterback Matt Moore, and have made bold statements about how they have no interest in pursing Kyle Orton. The deal could not be made between the two clubs so it looks like Orton is safe for now.
