A recent report has suggested that there is a good chance that Denver might go ahead and draft the standout linebacker, Von Miller, from Texas A&M, despite Marcell Dareus being the likely pick by NFL analysts. As I suggested in the previous blog, there is what I would consider being a very wise move; fulfilling the needs rather than sticking to Mel Kiper Jr’s QB watch-list.
Miller, who just had an absolute crazy year, accounting for over 10.5 sacks, despite suffering a early-season injury. Not to mention that in his 2009 season lead the entire NCAA with 17 sacks. To be clear, the guy is a freak and a huge threat on defense. He is arguable the best pass-rusher that this drat has to offer. The guy has the size for the ideal athletic linebacker, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing in at 246 pounds. With the defensive mindset that Coach Fox is often acclaimed for, Miller would not only be a wise choice, but a very safe choice also.
