Miller and Defense Lead Broncos Past Seattle 23-20

Despite such a short period between the signing of new Head Coach John Fox and the transitioning into training camp for the rest of the Broncos, Denver certainly has show much improvement from their uncharacteristic woes of last season.

Playing their first game (preseason) at Mile-High this year, the Broncos were challenged by the Seattle Seahawks who are looking to top their surprising playoff run last season.

Kyle Orton and the rest of the Denver offense played great. Orton threw for nearly 300 yards and recorded one touchdown and one pick. Tebow, despite highlights of just his unfortunate fumble, had a 89.9 passer rating and nearly completed all of his passes.

After having the league’s worst defense last year, the Broncos have certainly made long strides to improve their defense and bring back the “Orange Crush” reputation.

Von Miller, the 2nd overall pick in this year’s draft, had two sacks, four tackles, and six hits on the quarterback.

It’s clear that with Miller and Elvis Dumerville on opposite sides, Denver’s intends to be aggressive as possible.

Denver recorded their second win in the preseason as they topped Seattle 23-20, and now improves to a 2-1 record.
